I'm Gerardo, and I've been building houses since 2009

I started as a residential carpenter in 2009. In 2012 I opened my own company, G.L. Construction, and spent the next fourteen years building decks and fences, framing additions and doing renovations across the GTA.

That work taught me where houses fail: the connections, the flashing, the shortcuts nobody sees once the drywall is up. In 2026 I closed the renovation company to focus on inspections, so I could put that experience to work for buyers and homeowners instead of builders.

I'm certified by InterNACHI®, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, and I follow its Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. That code means I don't do repairs on homes I inspect, so my report is never a sales pitch.

I speak English and Spanish, and I'm happy to walk you through the report in either.
