What we collect
When you fill in the request form, chat with our website assistant, call, text, WhatsApp or email us, we collect what you give us: name, phone, email, property address, property type, preferred dates and notes about your inspection.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, quote and schedule your inspection, deliver your report, and follow up about that inspection. If you tick the box to receive occasional emails (home maintenance tips, Tarion reminders), we may email you a few times a year. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Website assistant
The chat on this website is powered by Anthropic's Claude. Your messages are sent to Anthropic to generate replies and are not used by them to train models. If you share your contact details in the chat, they are saved in our customer records so Gerardo can contact you.
Google Calendar and Maps
We use Google Calendar to manage our own inspection schedule and Google Maps to estimate driving time between appointments. Our app accesses only the GL Inspections business calendar; it does not access any visitor's Google account. Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to schedule inspections, is never sold or shared, and is not used for advertising, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where it is stored
Customer records are stored securely with Supabase (Canada region) and the website is hosted by Vercel. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by writing to glinpections@gmail.com. We keep inspection records as long as needed for the service and legal obligations.
